Hungry Ghosts

Hungry Ghosts is a supportive group practice for anyone wanting to learn how to cultivate greater awareness, compassion, and mindfulness for working with habitual patterns that they self-identify as addictive behaviors.

By delving into the direct experience of the mind, body, heart, and spirit, this weekly group is an invitation to use mindfulness-based and body-centered practices as a way to explore how addictive behaviors help manage the dis-ease of emotional distress. This type of present-moment and in-depth self study allows the function, or wisdom, of life-diminishing addictive patterns to be revealed, and affords the practitioner a chance to discover alternative, life-affirming ways of dealing with his or her discomfort.
